As soon as Scot Schuman’s The Sartorialist arrived in the post a couple of weeks ago I sat down and studied the book cover to cover. Now I read The Sartorialst blog everyday but there is something delightful about having a tangible, physical book that smells of new print and that you can flick through and write on and keep on a shelf. Schuman has brought street style photography centre stage. The book is a fabulous collection of 500 of Schuman’s favourite photographs. Text is scarce but the tidbits of information scattered through the book give precious insight into what inspires the man.
How awesome is the photo? The jacket, the yellow scooter, the smile and the street. I really hope this is in Scott Schuman next book!
