Laura Cassidy is an Irish designer who produces headwear that enhances and reveals the beauty and elegance of its wearer. Perfect for that summer wedding, festival, ball or trip abroad. Her designs won’t cost you a small fortune and you will be guaranteed to stand out.
Laura’s millinery training began at The National College of Art and Design in Dublin. On graduating Laura took her place at the prestigious and world renowned Royal College of Art in London.
Working under the guidance of the legendary tutor Shirley Hex, Laura mastered the skills and techniques of traditional millinery and pushed the boundaries of practicality in modern headwear. She gained valuable experience working with a diversity of hat designers such as Misa Harada and Fred Bare and millinery genius Philip Treacy. Like Treacy her designs are skillfully handcrafted and create a subtle but striking statement about individuality and understated luxury.
Laura’s talents don’t stop there; she has now thrown her hand to jewellery design which she describes as ‘classic yet contemporary’. Her collection is inspired by the natural beauty of semi precious stones and the striking sophistication of Swarovski crystals, which altogether make up a varied collection of delicate, feminine, timeless pieces.
