Sienna has been carrying her red Prada tote for every sort of occasion over the best part of a year now. I must admit that I can get very attached to accessories and often find myself wearing them with everything, so it is nice to see others do too! The recurring Prada tote is also just a good excuse to post a myriad of pictures of Sienna in all her stylishness. Coco from Coco’s Tea Party has a theory that Sienna dresses better when she’s with Jude and and Coco could well be right, that Mathew Williamson dress and the new fringe look great.

Blue Suede Shoes

It feels like Sarah Jessica Parker and the Sex and the City 2 Moive are everywhere. I mean I’ve seen so many photos and clips from the movie set that I actually don’t need to go to the see it anymore! Anyhow what I did notice about SJP in this media frenzy is that she seems to have really fallen for Nicholas kirkwood’s suede platforms. And you can see why they’re pretty gorgeous and I bet they’re great to walk in too with the lace-up detail and platform. SJP wore blue Kirkwood’s to an interview with her Proenza Shouler dress, to the New York movie première after-party with the black lace Ellie Sabb dress and yesterday for her Letterman interview…

Pixies at Cannes

So I missed the Met Gala and a lot more besides due to university project overload! However I’ve been cacthing up on my google reader for the past two days and I’m determined not to miss all of Cannes!

I have to look twice at every picture I see of Michelle Williams since she cropped her hair. I think it really suits her, but she resembles Carey Mulligan so much don’t you think?! But this is certainly not a bad thing, I really like both of their looks at Cannes. Their pixie cropped hair looks so cute and I’m actually surprised how much I lke their dress choices…

Burberry Prorsum Womens AW2010

Breaking new ground for the fashion industry, Burberry Prorsum organized live 3D screenings of its live show in London in five other cities - New York, Tokyo, Paris, Dubai and Los Angeles. Burberry also streamed the show in 2D on its Web site, allowing viewers anywhere in the world to comment and critique in real time was the case with the mens show. We’ve seen the growth of presence of fashion houses online in an effort to reach a wider and perhaps younger market: read more about this and the paris show here.

And Christopher Bailey’s collection lived up to the stages set… Just a perfectly gorgeous collection that leaves you wanting every/any coat, and sheerling lined boot.

Burberry Mens AW2010 – Live

I know I’m very late posting this, but I thought it was so exciting at the time that I reckon its still worth a quick mention. I was on Twitter 2 minutes before the Burberry Mens show last week and by chance spotted a tweet to say the live stream was about to start at live.burberry.com. The livestream allowed viewers to comment on the collection as it unfolded on screen. Enthusiastic viewers from all around the world logged in and waited excitedly fro the show to begin. The lights went down and Christopher Bailey didn’t disappoint. Every part of the show was amazing, from the lights to the buttons on the coats. WIth a focus on outerwear evident, Bailey produced a stunning collection of coats and simple basics to compliment.

Now really I hope that there will be lots and lots more live streaming of shows in the future. With such a extensive and enthusiastic online fashion community it only stands to reason that this should be the way forward.
